Cycle Services
Being fully insured and qualified, you can have peace of mind knowing your bike is in good hands. You’ll be kept up to date with pricing, timelines and progress.
We offer a range of service options depending on what you need including half-hourly rates, hourly rates, and fixed labour rates so you can be guaranteed the cost before work begins (parts not included in labour rates).
We are a member of the Irish Professional Bicycle Mechanics Association.
30 Minute service
€30 (€25 for students with valid ID)
Includes labour for fixing/replacing* any small parts which will take approx. 30 mins or less, such as; brake pads, inner tubes, tyres, cables or a new chain. Usually a maximum of 1 or 2 parts can be replaced/fixed in this time, depending on the part.
*Parts not included. You can bring your own parts or we can provide them (cost will be confirmed before work begins). Only the parts requested will be replaced/fixed, no other servicing will be included.
Basic Service & safety check
€45 (€40 for students with valid ID)
Makes sure your bike is safe to use on the road. Recommended once every few months, or if your bike has sat unused for a while. Includes inspection of; chain condition, brake pads, inner tube/sealant, tyres, spokes and wheels.
Also includes: tyres pumped to correct pressure, chain lubed, and full wipedown and clean. No other parts or labour are included - a report on condition will be provided and if parts need to be replaced, we will let you know. You can then upgrade this to the Full Service package (€80) which includes all labour. Parts will still be extra.
Full/ Advanced Service
€70 (€60 for students with valid ID)- Guaranteed labour rate, no matter how long the work takes
Includes everything in the Basic Service, plus all labour for replacement of parts such as; inner tubes, brake pads, brake cables, gear cables, bar tape, chains, etc.
Also includes: tyres pumped to correct pressure, chain lubed, and full wipedown and clean. No parts included - any parts being replaced can be provided by you, or we can provide them at a supplementary cost agreed with you before work begins.
Full rebuild service
€150 (€135 for students with valid ID)- Guaranteed labour rate, no matter how long the work takes
Includes everything in the Full Service, plus all labour for complete stripdown of all parts of the bike. Everything will be taken off, down to the frame. All parts will be individually cleaned, checked, lubed/greased (where needed), tyres pumped, torque checked to manufacturer specifications, and the bike will be rebuilt ready to return to you.
No parts included - any parts being replaced can be provided by you, or we can provide them at a supplementary cost agreed with you before work begins.
60 minute service
€60 (€50 for students with valid ID)
Similar to the 30 minute service, if you have specific issues you need solved but don’t require a full service. This is for situations where the work takes more than 30 minutes and is expected to take approx. 1 hour. If the work takes less than 30 mins, we will only charge the €30 fee for the 30 minute service.
No parts included - any parts being replaced can be provided by you, or we can provide them at a supplementary cost agreed with you before work begins.
Mobile mechanic /recovery
From €10 extra, depending on location*
Student discount doesn’t apply to this fee, but will apply to the service/repair costs.
We can repair your bike at your work/school/etc while you get on with your day.
If you need more intensive work, we may not always be able to do this from your location. Get in touch to discuss options.
€10 fee will cover most of Cork City Centre and northside. It may rise slightly for some further out parts of the city. Exact cost can be confirmed with you when we know the location.
Full Custom cycle Build
€335 (€300 for students with valid ID)- Guaranteed labour rate
This includes a consultation to discuss your build and is a guaranteed labour rate for the entire build - no matter how long the work takes.
No parts included - as part of the consultation, we will discuss what frame and parts you want. We will order all the parts for you and complete the build. You will be required to pay for the parts at the time of the order. If you wish to get the parts yourself, you can bring all the parts and frame to us for us to build at the €350 guaranteed labour rate.
